Been coming to Sushi Taku for years!!! I consider this place a staple in the AYCE sushi community. Great app and sushi options. One of my fav spots!

Really good for all you can eat sushi! Everything came out super fast and I liked how dessert and appetizers are included in the all you can eat. My favorites were the takoyaki, crazy kani roll and unagi nigiri. The apple sake was also delicious. Wasn't too busy on a Thursday night at 6. Did get busy as it got later though. Definitely worth the price!!

We visited for dinner for AYCE sushi and what everyone says is true - get here early or be prepared to wait for a table! For my experience, the waitlist did not open until 7:00pm on a Saturday, and we waited 90 minutes to be seated for a party of 3. Luckily, you can monitor your spot on the waitlist in the Yelp app, so we passed the time by waiting at a bar down the street. The food came out quickly and the ordering process was easy to understand. I'd give this a solid 4.5/5, rounding up to 5. Excellent service all around.

Adding some photos from a recent visit. We stopped by again for their lunch AYCE and were not disappointed. Although you can't get dessert and a select few nigiri options, the rolls are the same as the dinner menu. Now that we were able to go back, we tried the Angel Hair roll, Saku Roll, and the Sunny Roll. The Angel hair is a must try! The apple flavor works so well with the fish. I also recommend the yellowtail nigiri.

I love Wicker Park Sushi Taku. I always do the Yelp Waitlist when I have the chance to. It allows me to see the wait time and all the parties in front of me. Once I get the confirmation, I check in with the hostess who are honestly so sweet and welcoming. I went on a Sunday evening. They offered outdoor seating and they also warned us if it rains, they can try to move people inside. That's very considerate of them. I was sat indoor since the outdoor area was getting full. My friends and I ordered an assortment of sushi and appetizers. They came out on a timely manner and it was delicious. I always enjoy going to sushi taku. It's on top of my list for ACYE sushi.

Hands down, my favorite sushi place in the area when it comes to value for money. Where else can you enjoy all-you-can-eat appetizers, sushi, and desserts for just $39 per person? It's an unbeatable deal that keeps me coming back time and time again. Plus, the BYOB policy is a fantastic bonus, allowing me to pair my favorite drinks with their delicious dishes. However, there's one pesky downside that always seems to put a damper on our dining experience - the annoying gnats. It's frustrating to be swarmed by these pesky insects while trying to enjoy your meal. Despite this minor inconvenience, the incredible value and quality of the food keep me returning.

Sushi taku is a vibe! On a bustling Division street, it probably is one of the restaurants that draw the largest crowds. Weekends can get really busy with 1-2 hour waits to plan accordingly. They do have help waitlist options to help with timing. Food is a 4.5/5. The sashimi and sushi taste fresh and the portions are great. The sushi rolls are loaded with fresh fish and the they don't do overdo it with the rice (some restaurants do this to cheap out but not here). The serving staff seem to be really busy and hard at work here constantly, so kudos to them. I will say the food does come out on the slower side when it's busy, but you know it's being prepared fresh. Definitely worth the all you can eat!

I've been here a handful of times and each time I'm always satisfied. The AYCE menu has signature rolls and nigiri but also many appetizers options. The quality of the fish is above average for AYCE and the ratio of fish to rice is heavier on the fish. The quality of the desserts and appetizers are amazing for the price. If you go for lunch time during the weekdays the price is only $23 and is super worth going. The service was fast and friendly and parking isn't too bad to find in this area.

AYCE sushi. Got there around 4:45 and the place was already packed. There was a line shortly after and for our entire experience. Started with crab rangoons which were some of the best I've had. Gyoza was meh, haru maki was crispy, and the sesame ball didn't sit right. Nigiris were big and fresh. The unagi was my favorite, the tamago was subtly sweet, hamachi, hokkigai, and kaibashira all solid. Got a lot rolls, mostly signature ones. The Godzilla, crazy kani, dragon, and sapporo rolls were very tasty. All consisted of a tempura element but also had great balance with the respective avocado, cucumbers, cream cheese, crab, and eel. They were also a good size. The two that I wasn't a fan of were the crazy tuna and sal-fornia rolls. We finished with some desserts. The mango mochi was delightful, Oreo tempuras were sweet but could have used more crisp, and the ube? macaroon was light and flavorful. Overall, the service was great and there was a nice vibe. Tons of options between the appetizers, rolls, nigiri, and dessert all at a solid price.
